Angela M. Harris is the proud oldest sister and assistant of Terry
Jackson, owner and founder of Christian Dance Center. Angela is a
graduate of Louisiana Tech University, with a Master Degree in
Counseling and Guidance. Angela is a formal principal dancer of Inter
City Row Modern Dance Company, under the direction of Luther Cox,
Jr., Artistic Director. Because of Luther’s strict teaching and discipline,
Angela is now able to teach others the art and technique of dance.
Angela has been dancing for over eight years and loves teaching dance
techniques to children of all ages. She has traveled to various churches
over the city and helped teach lyrical dance technique and
choreography to praise dancers. She is one of the instructors of
“Angels of Anointed Praise Dance Ministry” at Project Love Church,
where she is a faithful disciple and where Reverend Jerome Lang, Sr.,
is her Pastor. Angela has the awesome opportunity to be invited to
ministry through dance at the Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat in
December 2005 and again in May 2006 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as
well as in May 2007. Angela gives God all the thanks and praise for
blessing her with trials and tribulations that have made her a stronger
woman of God. She is continuing to complete her education in the field
of counseling by completing the (LPC) program to become a Licensed
Professional Counselor. Angela says that, “Knowledge is Power” and
that we should all strive to get “WISDOM” but most importantly, in all
our getting, we should get “UNDERSTANDING.”

Cheryl Krause has been passionate about dance since infancy.  She’d
wiggle in her baby bed to the beat of her favorite song; then toss the
radio over the rail once the song ended!  She attended Woodlawn High
School and obtained her dream: making the dance line her sophomore
year and becoming Leading Lady her senior year.  Cheryl obtained a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Northwestern State
University.  She worked at Willis Knighton in cardiology and as head
nurse of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Life was busy with a full-time job, a husband and baby- but she
missed that spiritual feeling she experienced through dance.  At age 29,
she began classes at Dance Arts Studio with Frank Vega and Aaron
Girlinghouse. Here she met Terry Jackson and Sherricka Fields.  Soon
she was in class four days a week- taking ballet, jazz, modern and tap.
She became a member of the studio dance company, Daz Dancers and
performed at multiple events such as Ballet under the Stars, the Red
River Revel and Christmas in the Sky.  Her favorite performances
were from 2000-2002 as an apprentice dancer with Louisiana’s
professional jazz dance company, La Jazdanz, at the Strand Theatre.
She has attended numerous master classes and workshops. Featured
instructors include noted talent Renee’ Smith and Ginger Folmer of
Centenary College, internationally acclaimed Pattie Obey and Joe
Tremaine and 2007 Emmy Winner Mia Michaels, currently a judge on
the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Cheryl and her husband, Al, have been married 16 years, and have a
fifteen-year-old son, Nolen. They enjoy playing tennis together and are
members of Grace Community Church.  Cheryl was ecstatic to be
reunited with friends Terry & Sherricka, and is honored to be included
in God’s Ministry at Christian Dance Center.
