with positive influences while encouraging them to work hard at being
their best, and teach them to believe there is no limit to what God can

Christian Dance Center, LLC

Christian Dance Center began in South Park Mall in November of 2002 offering classes in ballet, modern,
tap, and gospel/liturgical dance. The studio is now located on the corner of West 70th Street and Mansfield
Road, providing dance classes to over three hundred students each year. One unique thing about Christian
Dance Center that sets it apart is that the instructors are not only dance technique teachers to the students,
but also serve as mentors and counselors to help guide them through choices and decisions as they become
young men and women. Professional, organized recitals are held annually in June, at the Shreveport Civic
Theatre. The professionalism of Christian Dance Center has been recognized nationally on the Word
Network at the Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Instructors are company
members of “Genesis”, the official dance company for the retreat.
